Use of solar energy to finish drying hay

Use of solar energy to finish drying hay

Mekhanizatsiya i Elektrifikatsiya Sel' skogo Khozyaistva ( 6): 26-27

A solar air heater was developed. It comprises a plastic film clad greenhouse with a floor covered with black polyethylene film. Air heaters are installed between the areas designated for hay stacks. A fan unit is connected to the air heater and the air ducts to triangular channels located under the hay stacks.
