Laboratory and field studies were carried out in Bangladesh to determine the optimal doses and application methods of 4 insecticidal plants and to evaluate their antifeedant and growth regulating properties. Methyl-tertiary butyl-ether (MTB) extracts of Azadirachta indica, Melia azedarach, Amoora rohituka (Ricinocarpodendron polystachyum), Annona reticulata and A. squamosa were most effective.
