Use of sunflower meal in feeds for meat pigs

Techni Porc 12(2): 51-55

During growth and fattening, 5 groups of 10 each castrated male and female Large White pigs were given mixed feeds based on maize and soyabean meal without or with sunflower meal (with husks) from Argentina or France 8 or 16%. In a second experiment 2 groups of 40 Large White castrated male and female pigs were given similar diets without or with semi-dehusked French sunflower meal 16%.
