Use of the 15N isotope method for the improved measurement of nitrogen fixation

The use of the 15N isotope method of measuring N fixation in plants is reviewed. The technique is briefly described and results obtained are considered. The results presented are taken from studies using wheat and soyabeans grown on different soils.
