Use of the diagnosticum of tick-borne encephalitis for the examination of donor sera in haemagglutination inhibition, complement fixation and radiation haemolysis in gel tests

Use of the diagnosticum of tick-borne encephalitis for the examination of donor sera in haemagglutination inhibition, complement fixation and radiation haemolysis in gel tests

Laboratornoe Delo (5): 65-67

The preparation of diagnostica for tick-borne encephalitis is described in which the 139 and Sofia strains were used and which involved purification of the viral brain suspension with freon-113 and inactivation with beta -propiolactone. The antigens were tested using 3 serological tests on 212 donor sera.
