Use of the fine fraction of Tazlau salts as a mineral source for breeding sows

Use of the fine fraction of Tazlau salts as a mineral source for breeding sows

Lucrarile Stiintifice ale Institului de Cercetare si Productie pentru Cresterea Porcinelor Peris 4: 403-413

During 2 years, groups of 8 Large White sows were given a mixed diet with 0.38% table salt during pregnancy and 0.45% during lactation or 1.0 and 1.2% fine fraction of salts from Tazlau, Romania. The fine fraction of Tazlau salts has chloride about 28.2, sodium 15.1, sulphate 20.6, potassium 8.3, magnesium 3.7, calcium 1.1 and manganese 0.01% with insoluble matter.
