Use of tissue culture in lucerne to produce forms resistant to Fusarium



Biologiya kul' tiviruemykh kletok i biotekhnologiya 1: 175-176



Culture filtrate of F. oxysporum with fungal toxins was used as the selective factor in work on obtaining resistant forms from seeds, apical meristems, callus explants and cell suspensions. The sensitivity of the different explants to the selective agents differed and depended on dose. High concentrations inhibited cell division in cell cultures.
