Use of woody biomass for production of cellulase by Trichoderma viride

Mokuzai Gakkaishi = Journal of the Japan Wood Research Society 35(6): 572-577

Steamed shirakamba (Betula platyphylla) chips were evaluated as a substitute for pure cellulose powder in the production of cellulolytic enzymes by Trichoderma spp. Enzyme production depended on the degree of delignification.
