Using isolated virulence genes of potato soft rot pathogens for diagnosis and possible application for resistance breeding

Using isolated virulence genes of potato soft rot pathogens for diagnosis and possible application for resistance breeding

Mitteilungen aus der Biologischen Bundesanstalt für Land und Forstwirtschaft Berlin Dahlem 245: 309

Several Erwinia carotovora subsp. atroseptica (Eca) clones obtained by cloning the Eca genome into Escherichia coli were identified. Despite variable restriction patterns they exhibited considerable homology.
