A biologically active supplement containing thiamin, niacin and vitamin E, when added to the diet given to carp reared in warm water, normalized metabolic processes and, in particular, prevented obesity, decreased the activity of the key lipolytic enzymes and increased oxidation reactions, endogenous synthesis of choline and the amount of glutathione in its reduced form.
