A model to predict three-dimensional air pressure patterns in grain beds

A finite element model was developed for predicting 3-dimensional air pressure patterns in grain beds. The model was validated against the measured data in cylindrical beds of wheat, barley and canola, 4.16 m diam. and 2.75 m deep, for 3 different floor configurations (straight, cross, and square floor openings) and 2 different air flow rates.
