A technological model of wood-harvesting systems in Poland considering changes in stand productivity affected by industrial air pollution



Working Paper International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis ( WP-89-81): 53 pp.



A model was developed of the timber harvesting system in Poland. The main objectives of the model were to determine (i) costs of harvesting and (ii) the structure of the machinery inventory required for harvesting under conditions of changing stand productivity (including the effects of industrial air pollution under various scenarios.).
