Results of thermoluminescence dating of soils from three terraces of the Henares river valley (Madrid) are reported. Samples were taken at 3 levels: 3-4 m, 30 m and 80 m. The soils were identified as a typic Xerochrept, a calcic Xerochrept and a petrocalcic Rhodoxeralf, resp.
