Accumulation of some elements in the above ground biomass of different stypes of sweet chestnut (Castanea sativa) stands

Accumulation of some elements in the above ground biomass of different stypes of sweet chestnut (Castanea sativa) stands

Lesnictvi 36(2): 113-126

The concentrations of Mg, Ca, K, Na, Zn, Pb and Fe in the above-ground biomass (bole, branches, twigs, leaves/needles, bark) were measured in (1) a pure Castanea sativa stand, (2) a C. sativa/Tilia cordata stand and (3) a C. sativa/Pinus sylvestris stand in the Lefantovce Permanent Research Area in 1986. All 3 stands were aged 23 yr.
