Scourge (resmethrin + piperonyl butoxide) is a possible replacement for Baygon (propoxur) against OP-susceptible and OP-resistant strains of adult mosquitoes. Orchex 796 oil is a suitable diluent at 1:2.33 v/v. Application of this formulation at 1 fl. oz/A (0.004 lb (AI)/A) controlled adult C. tarsalis using the spray system described in field trials conducted in King's county, California.
