Aflatoxin elaboration and nutritional deterioration in some pulse cultivars during infestation with A. flavus

Thirty-eight different cultivars of pulses (black gram, pigeon peas, soyabean, gram and green gram) were screened to determine the varietal responses in respect of aflatoxin production. Two cultivars (gram var. 'H-208' and soyabean var. 'PK-746') were highly resistant against aflatoxin elaboration while others exhibited different degrees of resistance and susceptibility.
