An easy computer processing method to associate soil data with another data bases for effective soil diagnosis

In the Kanagawa (Japan) soil information system (DSP series), soil chemistry, cultural and site data have been stored in a database. To maximize the effectiveness of the system it was linked to other databases, e.g., digital national land information and automated meteorological data acquisition systems, to form a new data processing system. In the new system map data were also stored on hard or floppy disc using an image scanner.
