Application of micronutrients and chalk on soyabean yield on varzea soils

In field trials on humic gley soil at Planaltina in 1985-88, soyabeans Savana were given 0 or 1 kg B, 0 or 2 kg Cu, 0 or 4 kg Mn, 0 or 0.5 kg Mo, 0 or 6 kg Zn and 7 or 9 t dolomitic limestone/ha. Seed yield in 1986, 1987 and 1988 was increased from 1.21, 1.91 and 1.32 t/ha, resp., without B to 2.28, 3.01 and 3.27 t with 1 kg B. Corresponding yields increased from 1.30, 2.27 and 2.20 t, resp., without Zn to 2.19, 2.65 and 2.39 t with 6 kg Zn (only 1986 yields were significantly different).
