Arabis mosaic virus: detection by SP6-generated cRNA probes and possible recombination with strawberry latent ringspot virus

A cDNA clone was constructed for RNA-2 of arabis mosaic nepovirus (ArMV) and then subcloned into the SP6 transcription vector pSP64. High specific activity 32P-labelled ArMV cRNA transcripts were generated and used as hybridization probes to detect the ArMV genome and related sequences.
