Assessment of yield losses due to root rot, Macrophomina phaseolina (Tassi) Goid of castor in watershed areas

Assessment of yield losses due to root rot, Macrophomina phaseolina (Tassi) Goid of castor in watershed areas

Indian Journal of Plant Protection 17(2): 287-290

The Ricinus communis cultivars GAUCH-1, Aruna and GSH-2 were highly susceptible to root rot and showed considerable losses in the fields surveyed. In one area in 1987-88 losses in GAUCH-1 were estimated at 194.4 kg/ha and in another during the same season Aruna showed a loss of 138.6 kg/ha.
