Bacteriological and serological studies on chickens infected experimentally by feed contaminated with Salmonella enteritidis

Bacteriological and serological studies on chickens infected experimentally by feed contaminated with Salmonella enteritidis

Selezione Veterinaria 33(7): 637-646

A group of 20 1-month-old SPF birds was given feed contaminated with Salmonella enteritidis at about 10superscript 3/g for a week (group I), while another group (II) of 19 similar birds was given orally 1 ml of a 24-h broth culture of Salmonella pullorum (109/ml).
