, : Calf diarrhoea caused by attaching and effacing Escherichia coli. Journal of the Japan Veterinary Medical Association 45(9): 650-654

Attaching and effacing Escherichia coli (AEEC) infection with muco-haemorrhagic diarrhoea was diagnosed in 3 calves on separate farms in Shiga Prefecture in 1989-90. The calves died 5, 11 and 17 days after birth, respectively. Characteristic PM findings were congestion of the mucous membranes from the jejunum to the colon and swelling of the mesenteric lymph nodes.
