Calibration of irrigation machinery

, : Calibration of irrigation machinery. Informatore Agrario 46(18): 29-32

Methods used for the calibration of traditional irrigation equipment are outlined. A simple calibrator, the McKenzie calibrator, is described and illustrated. This calibrator allows instantaneous reading of flow rate for irrigation equipment in use. The minimum flow rate detectable is 0.2 litres per minute and the max. is 3.10 litres per minute.
