Camel milk output: evidence from Somalia

, : Camel milk output: evidence from Somalia. Seminar Proceedings Scandinavian Institute of African Studies ( 25): 162-176

The Somali economy is mainly dependent on livestock which contributes about 80% of total foreign exchange and employs about 6% of the population. This paper presents empirical evidence for camel milk output in the country. The basic limitations to estimating the data are first discussed, followed by an evaluation of different models and their estimated results.
