, : Candida antigen latex test. Journal of Infectious Diseases 161(4): 807-808

In reply to a previous paper (Ness, M. J. (et al.) Journal of Infectious Diseases (1989) 159, 495-502) which indicated that the Candida antigen latex agglutination test (CAND-TEC) may be falsely positive in bone marrow transplant patients with high serum creatinine levels, it is reported that in a series of 8 patients undergoing 12 episodes of dialysis, 11 measurements of Candida antigen titre were <1:2.
