In June 1991 the International Olympic Committee will select the city which will host the Winter games in 1998. Six candidate cities are involved in the selection process: Aosta, Italy; Jaca, Spain; Nagano, Japan; Destersund, Sweden; Salt Lake City, USA; and Sochi, USSR.
