Canning potato trial 1987

, : Canning potato trial 1987. Technical Memorandum, Campden Food and Drink Research Association ( 562): 29 pp.

In 1987 eleven potato cultivars were grown to assess their suitability for canning. Detailed notes were taken throughout the season with records of ware and canning grade yields, raw material quality, and DM and sensory quality of the canned samples at 3 harvest. Canning grade yields (19-37 mm) showed a large variation at all 3 harvests, with the control Maris Peer, giving the best agronomic performance.
