Capsule applicator: a low-cost measure for control of fusarial wilt in banana

A description is given of an iron applicator for inserting gelatin capsules filled with 50 mg carbendazim into the rhizomes of banana plants infected with Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. cubense. Treated plants usually respond to a single application.
