Studies of the San' in Region, Forest Resources, Centre for Studies of the San' in Region, Shimane University 3: 31-36

In a trial begun in 1982, 11 Wasabia japonica cultivars were compared. Data were collected for plant weight, stem number, rhizome number and weight, colour, aroma and flavour. Correlations between the various factors were investigated. A high correlation between total plant weight and stem number, and lower correlations between total weight and rhizome number or weight, between rhizome number and weight, and between aroma and flavour were found.
