The total life period of Aphis craccivora averaged 10.42, 9.61 and 10.57 days, resp., on cowpea (Vigna unguiculata), black gram (V. mungo) and green gram (V. radiata) in the laboratory, and the corresponding fecundities were 27.88, 17.43 and 17.57.
