Contagious bovine pleuropneumonia in Namibia. Application of an ELISA and comparison with complement fixation and indirect haemagglutination tests. Comments on local vaccine production and disease control

Contagious bovine pleuropneumonia in Namibia. Application of an ELISA and comparison with complement fixation and indirect haemagglutination tests. Comments on local vaccine production and disease control

Untersuchungen zur Lungenseuche des Rindes in Namibia: 123 pp.

Antigen for ELISA was eluted from SDS-PAGE gel of protein derived from the T1SR vaccine strain of Mycoplasma mycoides subsp. mycoides. Tests conducted between 1985 and 1989 showed that the incidence of CBPP was low in northern Namibia, and certain areas were free from the disease.
