Dietary protein requirement of two size classes of the Indian major carp, Catla catla Hamilton

Dietary protein requirement of two size classes of the Indian major carp, Catla catla Hamilton

Journal of Aquaculture in the Tropics, 61: 79-87

Two size classes about 0.134+or-0.004 and 5.12+or-0.46 g body weight of Catla catla were fed on a series of isoenergetic (3.07 kcal/g) purified diets containing 25, 30, 35, 40 and 45% protein twice daily for 6 weeks. Weight gain for both size classes was linear.
