Differences in the sex and age composition of the muskox populations and implications for male breeding strategies

Differences in the sex and age composition of the muskox populations and implications for male breeding strategies

Rangifer 12(1): 17-19

The sex ratio ( among adults (>1-yr-old) was studied in 2 muskox populations in Canada, each with about 1400 animals. The overall sex ratio was 0.61 and 0.66 in the 2 populations.
