Different intensities of illumination affecting the visual response in locust Schistocerca gregaria

Different intensities of illumination affecting the visual response in locust Schistocerca gregaria

Sarhad Journal of Agriculture 5(3): 303-306

The visual response of Schistocerca gregaria is affected by the intensity of illumination and is sigmoid in shape: at low levels large increases in intensity correspond to small differences in reponse, in the middle range there is a linear relationship, and at high intensity visual response changes are small.
