Different rates of herbicides in weed control in the rubber tree

Different rates of herbicides in weed control in the rubber tree

Pesquisa Agropecuaria Brasileira 24(9): 1089-1092

Field trials in rubber in Bahia, Brazil in which the weed control efficiency of diuron/hexazinone at 2.0 or 1.3 kg/ha, glyphosate at 1.5 or 1 kg, diuron/ametryn + paraquat at 3 or 2 + 0.2 kg and of oxyfluorfen + paraquat at 1.5 or 1 + 0.2 kg were assessed, demonstrated that it was possible to reduce recommended herbicide rates by a third, and maintain control, except for glyphosate and oxyfluorfen + paraquat where broadleaved weeds were dominant.
