Differential effect of isomeric sugars on the internal pressure of their aqueous solutions at 303K

Velocity of ultrasound, viscosity and density were measured in aqueous solutions of sugars at 30 degrees C; internal pressure, free volume and hydration number were computed from these data using stated formulae.
