Differential response of certain induced short-culm mutants of Basmati-370 to gibberellic acid

Differential response of certain induced short-culm mutants of Basmati-370 to gibberellic acid

Advances in Plant Sciences 4(1): 68-74

The growth of rice Basmati 370 and its dwarf mutants in 0, 3, 6 and 9 p.p.m. gibberellic acid (GA3) solutions was observed. On the basis of a GA3 index (based on shoot and root length and seedling weight), mutants sd4, sd6, sd8, sd12, sd22, d1 and d10 were classed as highly responsive to GA3.
