Differentiation of Venezuelan equine encephalomyelitis complex viruses using monoclonal antibodies and time-resolved fluoroimmunoassay

Potentialities of differentiation between Venezuelan equine encephalomyelitis (VEE) complex viruses by time-resolved fluoroimmunoassay and enzyme immunoassay were studied. For this, 4 test systems were used based on different combinations of native and labelled polyclonal antibodies to VEE virus, strain Trinidad, and monoclonal antibody (MCA) MAK 14-7 to protein EL of this virus.
