Differentiation of gliadin protein fractions in selected forms of winter and spring wheat

Differentiation of gliadin protein fractions in selected forms of winter and spring wheat

Hodowla Roslin, Aklimatyzacja i Nasiennictwo 35(1-2): 59-63

The results are presented of an electrophoretic analysis of gliadins in the grain of 5 spring lines, a winter line and 3 winter varieties. The forms proved to be a mixture of biotypes with different banding patterns. For example, the winter variety Begra had 3 electrophoregrams, differing in gliadin blocks encoded by chromosome 6A (6A1, 6A3, and 6A1 + 6A3).
