Differentiation of orthopoxviruses by using monoclonal antibodies against monkey pox and mouse pox viruses



Differenzierung von Orthopockenviren mit Hilfe monoklonaler Antikorper gegen Affen und Mausepockenviren: 99 pp.



Of 17 monoclonal antibodies prepared, 9 from monkey poxvirus and 8 from ectromelia virus, 3 recognized all of 22 orthopoxviruses in enzyme immunoassay, while 9 were specific for either vaccinia, cowpox, monkey pox or ectromelia viruses.
