Capabilities of various diagnostic methods, including enzyme electrophoresis for differentiation of Eimeria species in field samples were discussed. Enzyme electrophoresis helped to distinguish species with similar oocysts such as Eimeria mitis and E. acervulina, E. praecox and E. tenella or E. brunetti and E. maxima.
