Differentiation patterns in cultured inflorescences and anthers of selected forage grasses

Differentiation patterns in cultured inflorescences and anthers of selected forage grasses

Dissertation Abstracts International B, Sciences and Engineering 51(2): 491B

Differentiation patterns in cultured inflorescences of big bluestem (Andropogon gerardii), intermediate wheatgrass (Agropyron intermedium and European sloughgrass (Beckmannia eruciformis) and in cultured anthers of big bluestem and intermediate wheatgrass in conjunction with plant regeneration were investigated. Young, unemerged inflorescence cultures grown on RM medium + 5 mg/litre 2,4-D initiated morphogenic calluses.
