Effect of different levels of nitrogen and some granular insecticides on stem borer and leaf folder incidence in rice

Studies on the effect on different levels of nitrogen (0, 40, 80 and 120 kg/ha) and some granular insecticides, carbaryl 4G, Sevidol 4:4G, phorate 10G, carbofuran 3G on the incidence of stem borer (Tryporyza incertulas Walk.) and leaf folder (Cnaphalocrosis medinalis Gn.) revealed that increasing levels of nitrogen significantly increased the infestation. But carbofuran 3G and phorate I0G reduced the incidence.
