In an experiment at the Fruit Research Station, Gangian, begun in 1980 when the litchi plants were 5 years old, trees were supplied with 50, 100 or 150 g N, 25 or 50 g P2O5, and 25 or 50 g K2O, in all combinations, each year for 5 years. The lower fertilizer doses resulted in better tree vigour, higher fruit yield and higher fruit TSS contents.
