Effect of foliar application of some micronutrients on chlorophyll and carotene contents of Valencia orange leaves

Orange trees (cv. Valencia) on sour orange rootstocks, growing at the Al-Kuwaytate Experiment station in Al-Ain, were sprayed 5 times during 2 growing seasons (1988 and 1989) with nutrient solutions. The sprays contained FeSO4 (25 g/litre), CuSO4 (1 g/litre), MnSO4 (25 g/litre), ZnSO4 (25 g/litre), a nutrient mixture (25 g/litre), or water (control).
