Effect of food plants on the biology of Epilachna vigintioctopunctata Fabr. (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae)

Effect of food plants on the biology of Epilachna vigintioctopunctata Fabr. (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae)

Journal of Entomological Research (New Delhi): 142: 142-145

When Epilachna vigintioctopunctata was reared in the laboratory on 6 food plants, tomato and brinjal were found to be the most suitable and Datura alba the least; the others were Solanum nigrum, S. xanthocarpum and Physalis minima.
