Twelve-year-old trees were sprayed 10 days before the anticipated harvest date with 1% calcium nitrate, 0.1% Rovral or 0.1% Bavistin or a mixture of these substances. The fruits were stored at 4 +or- 1 degrees C for up to 112 days.
