Effect of fungitoxicants on seed-borne Trichoconiella padwickii in paddy

A total of 24 fungicide treatments were evaluated for their efficacy in controlling seedborne T. padwickii. The effect of dry and soaking treatments were studied with fungicides singly and in combination. Carboxin, Homai (thiram + thiophanate-methyl), kasugamycin, mancozeb and phenylmercury acetate significantly reduced fungal incidence when applied as a dry seed treatment at 3 g/kg seed.
