Daily milk yield data obtained between 1979 and 1981 at various stages of 1st lactation of 141 Karan Fries (KF) and 192 Karan Swiss (KS) cows were analysed to determine the effects of genetic (breed) and non-genetic (month, yr) factors, and climatic variables (temp., humidity) on milk yield.
