Effect of gibberellin on the flowering of Calanthe sieboldii Decne

Effect of gibberellin on the flowering of Calanthe sieboldii Decne

Research Reports of the Kochi University, Agricultural Science 38: 9-18

Flower buds of defoliated and intact plants of Calanthe sieboldii were treated on 3 Dec. with 125, 250, 500 or 1000 mg GA/litre by dripping the aqueous solution on to cotton covers placed over the buds, by injecting into the buds or by dipping the buds in the solution. The plants were then potted and forced at 25 degrees C.
